Prosthesis change before & after

During this procedure, we preventively replace your existing breast implants to avoid potential problems. A prosthesis change takes place under general anesthesia. The surgeon removes the old prosthesis through the existing scar and removes any scar tissue if capsular tissue forms. After placing the new prosthesis, the incisions are sutured and taped. Supportive dressing may be necessary for recovery. Drains may be placed to drain wound fluid, which are usually removed the next morning.
