Facelift before & after

A facelift takes place under general anesthesia. The time required for surgery is determined by the complexity of the operation. Before any surgical procedure, your plastic surgeon will carefully delineate and mark the area to be treated. During surgery, an incision is made to loosen the skin in areas such as the cheeks or neck – the tissues just under the skin are then pulled back into place near the ears and secured there with sutures. If fatty tissue is present around the chin, it can also be removed through a separate incision below the chin line. Upon completion of surgery, thin tubes (known as drains) may be inserted into the wound to remove blood and fluid. Removal of these drains is usually done after 24 hours. In addition, you must stay with us overnight after your facelift.

If you are considering undergoing a facelift, we understand that you are wondering what the results will look like. Therefore, Blooming Plastic Surgery offers before and after photos of patients who have undergone this procedure. These photos can be enlarged and will give you a better idea of the results that can be achieved with this treatment. We believe it is important for our patients to be well informed before making a decision about their treatment, and we want to make sure you feel comfortable with your choice of facelift. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like more information about this procedure.
