Drs. Wouter van der Pot

Drs. W.J. van der Pot (b. 1977) studied medicine at the Academic Medical Center from 1995 to 2002. From 2003 to 2009, he trained as a Plastic, Reconstructive, Cosmetic and Hand Surgeon at the AMC, the Dutch Cancer Institute Anthonie van Leeuwenhoek (NKI-AvL) and the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk. He has taken several international courses and also completed a plastic surgery residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York leading up to his training. In addition, he is an official Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery(EBOPRAS) by passing the required exams in November 2008. Wouter van der Pot is a member of the Dutch Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NVEPC) and served as chair of the Education Continuing Education and Examination (ONE) committee for the Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery (NVPC) from 2013 to 2019. He also draws widely and has provided several medical publications with medical / anatomical illustrations. He has twins and lives with his family in Amsterdam.
