Drs. G.A. Nolst Trenité studied medicine at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam after which he specialized as a Plastic, Reconstructive, Cosmetic and Hand Surgeon at the University Medical Center Utrecht and the Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein from 2010 to 2016. After this, he worked at Meander Medical Center in Amersfoort where he focused specifically on reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.

Doctor Nolst Trenité has a specific interest in cosmetic surgery of the face and in particular in functional and cosmetic nasal surgery in which he super-specialized after his specialization (Rhinoplasty Fellowship).
He is an official Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS). Nolst Trenité is a member of the Dutch Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NVEPC) and the Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery (NVPC).
He has researched reconstruction of the eye socket (UW Medical Center, Seattle, USA) and specific suture techniques in nasal surgery.

In his spare time, Nolst Trenité is a nature photographer. In this, too, he strives for beauty and aesthetic balance.
