Dr. Klaske Booij

After completing her training in Medicine at the University of Groningen, Dr. K.A.C. Booij moved to Amsterdam and completed her training in general surgery there from 2008 to 2012. She has also published several scientific articles and received her PhD in June 2018. From 2012 to 2016, she pursued her specialty as a Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgeon at the AMC in Amsterdam, the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (Dutch Cancer Institute) in Amsterdam, the Rode Kruis Hospital in Beverwijk and the Spaarne Gasthuis in Haarlem. She also completed an additional cosmetic and post-bariatric internship at the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven. Ook heeft zij een aanvullende cosmetische en post-bariatrische stage gevolgd in het Catharina Ziekenhuis in Eindhoven. This year she attended the Body Contouring Surgery Course of the renowned Dr. Jean-François Pascal in Lyon. She also frequently takes other courses to stay completely up-to-date. Her other passions are her family, travel and photography.
