“Being confident about achieving great results.”
My name is Mick Kreulen and, since 2000, I have been working as a plastic surgeon at the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk. For me, surgery is the ultimate combination of skill and empathy.
Starting with a description of what it is that you want to achieve, I will recommend what will work and how we can achieve the best results. Honesty and meticulousness are extremely important.
Within Blooming Plastic Surgery, my specialty lies in hand surgery and breast reconstructions using patients’ own body tissue.
Dr. Mick Kreulen has been registered as a plastic surgeon and a member of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Plastische Chirurgie (Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery) and the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Handchirurgie (Dutch Association for Hand Surgery) since 1 January 2000. Since then he has worked at the Amsterdam Academic Medical Centre and at the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk.
His specific areas of interest within this plastic surgery partnership are hand and wrist surgery and reconstructive surgery. An example of this latter field are reconstructions of body contours, in particular, with the aesthetics of breast augmentation and breast reconstruction.
In 2004, Mick Kreulen graduated from the University of Amsterdam and he joined the American Society for Surgery of the Hand a year later. After 6 months of completing internships in the United States and Australia in 2006/2007, he returned to Beverwijk and joined the Partnership of Blooming plastic surgeons. Since then he has been a member of the board of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Plastische Chirurgie (Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery) and teaches plastic surgery at the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk.
