Fillers

Wrinkles are caused by the reduction of collagen resulting in sagging skin. As you age, subcutaneous fatty tissue also decreases, amplifying the effect of sagging skin. Fillers are the right solution to naturally fill superficial or deeper wrinkles in the skin. In addition, fillers are great for firming, reducing crow’s feet, reducing dry skin, enlarging your lips, reducing bags under the eyes or lifting eyebrows.

The treatment process

What is the treatment process for fillers?

Anesthesia

Local anesthesia

Operation duration

15 – 60 minutes

Recovery time

2 – 5 days

Prior to treatment, a consultation with your treating specialist will take place. Based on your wishes, the plastic surgeon will discuss the treatment options with you. The plastic surgeon always chooses the least invasive means or methods, but always with the best possible result.

Treatment is sometimes a combination of Botox and fillers because this ensures the best results. This is because with fillers, immediate skin-improving results are achieved and the injection of Botox works to prevent wrinkle formation.

A 100 euro consultation fee is charged for a consultation. These will be deducted from the final price of the treatment.

Voorafgaand aan de behandeling zal uw plastisch chirurg het te behandelen gebied aftekenen. Fillers injection is done with or without local anesthesia. The filler itself is inserted into specific areas of the skin with a thin needle. Usually the treatment takes no longer than 15 to 30 minutes, but this does depend on the area where the fillers are inserted. The results of the filler treatment are visible immediately after the treatment.

After the procedure, you can go home immediately. It is not recommended that you perform intensive sports or other physical activities for 24 to 48 hours after treatment. In addition, we recommend that you avoid high temperature variations, such as visiting a sauna.

By using natural hyalaronic acid fillers, the treatment is completely safe. Therefore, the risk of complications is very minimal. The side effects that may occur are:

  • Swelling
  • A fellowship feeling
  • An inflammation of the wound area
  • Allergic reaction
  • A bruise in the form of a temporary bruise
  • Asymmetry
  • Dissatisfaction with the result

Result fillers

“I used to have beautiful full lips, but the older I got, the more my lips lost volume. I then made an appointment with Dr. Staudt and he subtly plumped up my lips. He also treated my nasolabial fold and drooping corners of my mouth. The change is beautifully natural and I have my full lips of old back.”

Frequently Asked Questions

We use temporary fillers that dissolve naturally in your body after a period of time. How long the fillers stay in place is different for everyone but on average they are gone from your body after 9 to 12 months.

Fillers and Botox are both injectables used to reduce wrinkles and are often used one after the other, or together. For both products, they work temporarily and thus disappear from your body after 6 to 12 months. With a filler treatment, a combination is often chosen: first the muscles are weakened with Botox and then the skin is strengthened in the same place with a filler. In this way, optimal results can be achieved.

Whether the filler treatment is painful depends on the treatment area as well as how high your pain threshold is. For example, placing fillers in the forehead is more sensitive than fillers in the cheekbones. Fillers are administered through a small sharp needle, which can feel burning.

This is definitely possible! The filler is injected into the skin under the eyebrows. The volume increases, giving a lifting effect. This immediately gives you a fresher appearance.

This is absolutely possible and is a very popular treatment. A jawline filler gives the jawline more volume and makes it appear tighter. A sagging jawline can make it look like you have bulging cheeks.
